Amani Bledsoe Suspended for 8 Games Ahead of 2023 NFL Season for Violating Performance-Enhancing Drug Policy

Amani Bledsoe, former defensive end for the Atlanta Falcons, has been hit with a severe punishment ahead of the 2023 NFL season. Bledsoe was found to have violated the NFL’s performance-enhancing drug policy and has been suspended for the first eight games of the upcoming season. Bledsoe was signed by the Falcons as an undrafted free agent in 2020 but was released later that year. He then joined the Tennessee Titans practice squad before being picked up by the Seattle Seahawks. Bledsoe played four games for the Seahawks in the 2021 season, recording four tackles and one sack. The NFL takes the use of performance-enhancing drugs very seriously and has strict policies in place to discourage their use. This punishment serves as a reminder to all players that the league will not tolerate cheating and will take action against those who violate its policies.
