Deiveson Figueiredo Forced to Withdraw from UFC 290 Due to Manel Kape’s Medical Clearance Issue

UFC fighter Deiveson Figueiredo has withdrawn from the upcoming UFC 290 event after his opponent, Manel Kape, was not medically cleared to fight. Figueiredo, who is currently ranked as the number one flyweight in the world, was set to face Kape on the main card of the event, which is scheduled for May 7 in Houston, Texas. However, Kape was not cleared to compete after failing to pass his medicals. It is unclear at this time if the UFC will find a replacement opponent for Figueiredo or if the fight will be rescheduled for a later date.
